Could be.

My thinking is that when things are so good that it can't get better, it usually gets worse. SanDisk had a "perfect storm" of huge growth in demand and less growth in capacity. It looks as if that might change, at least on the capacity side. And the risk of a less than "perfect storm" will get many to bail.

We probably won't know until this summer how the year will turn out for SanDisk. If the growth remains torrid, and if the new manufacturing capacity from Samsung and Toshiba and the new players doesn't keep pace with sales growth, then SanDisk is real cheap right now. But two if's equals uncertainty, and uncertainty in many minds means sell.

When SanDisk starts to outperform the semis on heavy volume, I'll get back in. I think it's a great company.
