We're talking about fighting men who were there and have the right to speak out about it. Who cares about Jane Fonda? You right-wingers keep bringing up her name as some kind of phony sexist symbol of shallowness. The same as you do Hilary Clinton, etc. Always demeaning women.

John Kerry is no Jane Fonda. He fought, killed, was wounded, saved lives, charged nto machine-guns and RPG's and tragically saw his best friends gunned down, then realized the policy-makres had been lying about the war the whole time. The Pentagon Papers proved the war was based on lies, just as the Iraq War is now.

That gave Kerry the perfect moral right to lead his fellow fightnig men, protest the war and try to bring it to an end. After all, as he said, "Who has the right to ask someone to be the last to die for a mistake?" Very poignant question. The vets know. Most of them will support John. Only the right-wing dittohead types won't, the ones who enjoyed "killing gooks".
