I agree Michigan doesn't look like there is any possibility of a Bush win there, I mean NONE... and yet sometimes you hear Bush staffers come up with real whoppers like Michigan and CA are "up for grabs".

Zogby was talking economy last night not terrorism. Terrorism is of course important in any election now. But Bush already had a ding by his name on Iraq, the only way Bush could have skirted the Iraq disaster was with a perfect, Clinton type economy which I think they may have thought they had.... 3 mos ago when those GDPs first came out at 7%. Now it is more clear what the reality of this economy is and I can't see how Bush recovers from both screwups Iraq + jobloss. This is ignoring the budget fiasco.
