If anyone believes Dean's "Handmaiden" charge they're nuts. Not even Ed Gillespie would make such a scurrilous charge against John Kerry. One so-called lobbyist is Kerry's treasurer. I had drinks with him once and he clearly explained that they follow strict ethics in fundraising. Anyone who asks for anything in return gets their check returned. No exceptions.
