to clarify: Heinz's comments have indicated that he thinks they may goof and raise, but that any rise would be very short-lived. I'm with you, it is too late in the cycle -- the bust will be apparent well before they can move from "considerable period" to "patient" to "xxx" to "zzz" to "yyy" to an actual raise they are out of ammo on the jawboning, though -- time for the dollar to fall out of bed and long rates to dive toward new lows. (AG won't defend the dollar -- what does he care??)
