LOL I can remember when Jerry Richardson wanted a franchise, he as some may know, was the CEO of a bunch of restaurants...Dennys, Hardees, Star (or something like that) Quincy, and a few more...anyhow, his business was headquartered in Spartanburg, S.C....when he finally got his franchise, he put the team in Charlotte, N.C.

The governor of S.C. had a long meeting with Richardson, asking him to at least put the team at the BORDER of North and South Carolina, in S.C. of course...it is only about 40 miles to Charlotte..but he chose not to...it was a sore spot...to S. C...

Anyhow, I know no one really cares, but I thought I'd give a little background to the Carolina team..
