Perhaps Jim's approach of looking at installation cost estimates for ATT or Hutchison is the best way to do this.

The problem with that is that no one (on this board) has seen any estimated installation costs for GSM1X for comparison (maybe the rumored deploying with CHU will be enlightening). Without such evidence, I see no reason to assume that GSM1X would be significantly cheaper (all other things being equal), especially since Qualcomm has never made any claims in that regard.

Offhand, does anyone know how much Hutchinson has spent to deploy wCDMA at 2100 MHz, de novo?
