I am very much against private education in practice, public education should find a way to accommodate those more suitable for private education (even if they are not in a majority) What about getting additional, grandfathered alumni-points in every grade and class, until the threshold has been reached?? What did happen in 1997?? --- tr.v. grand·fa·thered, grand·fa·ther·ing, grand·fa·thers To exempt (one involved in an activity or business) from new regulations: The new ordinance restricts the size of billboards, but it grandfathers those erected before 1997. --- I though the grandfathered funny stuff was more important somewhat earlier, many many moons and suns ago, but still worth some alumni points without getting to millions of donations.
