Dean was very good on the show. He was fiesty but quite subdued at the same time. He showed his vulnerability with the hiring of his new campaign manager in that he is a Washington insider. He came across as someone who is new to politics in the sense that he showed that he is a novice in campaigning. Words like "message" and "messenger" Admitting that he needed to correct himself as a messenger and that his message holds true is what he failed to bring out. When they showed his "I have a scream" clip, he should have capitalized on it by admitting that he made a tactical mistake and that he has worked on it since and expressed a hope that the people in the upcoming states are willing to take a fresh look at him as a "messenger". Instead he said that "he says what he thinks" which I am sure voters will interpret as "I don't care what you think or feel, it is what I care for is what I think."

It is all in the image. Remember Slick Willie. Unfortunately, that is what wins. And he did not portray that.
