Saddam didn't have WMD's. He was a pest and a menace, but that's about it. We had him surrounded and could have let inspections take their source without losing a single US life. Instead, Bushies told us lies about how we had to go in now, almost alone and shoulder the entire cost. It was one of the most dishonest presiential decisions ever, right up there with Johnson and the Gulf Of Tonkin resolution. In both cases the main beneficiary was Halliburton's Brown+ Root and Bectel. Everyone else lost. We are paying a tremendous price for Bush's rush to war now. The money alone will be dumped on future tax-payers for many eyars to come. And of course the Bushies refuse to mention where the Iraqi oil revenues are going after many of them promised us this would pay for the war. Don't thnk the troops in Iraq take it lightly when they see on TV that Bush was completely wrong or lied about the WMD's threat. Bush has destroyed a lot of lives just to swipe and election and grab oil-fields for his cronies. The rest of us pay.
