Re: "after tens of millions of Americans are killed, we will finally get serious. " I am afraid you are right. Most Americans, including Bush, are not really serious about the threat of terrorism. If we were serious we would: 1. Put people in prison for trying to enter the country illegally, including Mexicans. 2. Stop the terrorist lottery. It is called the "diversity lottery" in which over 50,000 foreigners are allowed to immigrate to the USA based on a diversity lottery. Arabs are heavily represented. Some terrorists are in that bunch. 3. Sharply reduce the 1,000,000 people per year we let immigrate legally. We are not serious about terrorism. We have some outdated ideals. Immigration is now just a racket for the rich to get richer while the rest of us just get poorer and killed.
