The lessons of the holocaust are mostly lost on boomers and gen x'ers. It's a shame that Hitler's unbelievable depravity wasn't memorialized with 35mm color film with audio of the entire "final solution" process. From the ghetto to the incinerator. Hollywood has made a few good efforts but we all know that we are watching actors. Just imagine the salutory effect that a Nazi-produced cinema quality documentary entitled "A Day in the Life of Bergen-Belsen" might have in reminding us all of how far and fast a great nation can sink.

I sense a significant rise in global anti-semitism and our failure to properly educate students about the true horrors of the Holocaust is partially to blame.
