Should we re-elected a...ex-alcoholic and cocaine user... A "recovering alcoholic" to be precise. Everyone carries a cross. FDR was a cripple and John F. Kennedy had enough dangerous drugs in his body while he was president to qualify as a toxic waste dump. Would you have removed both of them from office because they were "deficient"? Kerry is a cancer survivor. Should the uncertainty concerning his health disqualify him from higher office? I don't know what your religious beliefs are but they do not appear to have a lot of room for charity.
