My old computer was taken over by aliens, too. I'll look up ad-aware. My screen is weird. Somehow the fonts and icons are all tall and narrow, stretched top to bottom, squashed together from the sides. Everything takes time, I could scream. I did this by clicking on the wrong thing when I was in the process of installing the 3Aline screensaver trial. Is there a nice crackling fireplace (not a tiny one, but one that fills the screen) screensaver you know? There's a woodstove on the other side of this room, but the mica in the door-window is all sooty and opaque. Instead of cleaning it, I could just run a fireplace on my monitor!
