"I think the NYTimes addresses another issue and is slanted, but not as much as you think it is slanted."

When a major media outlet has a series of lies &
distortions when examining a matter of significance, I
have to question their intent. The NYT is by far the
largest print media outlet & their stories are picked up
by many other media outlets giving the NYT journalists the
ability to reach many millions of readers every day.

The only reason you tell millions of people lies &
distortions is to deceive them into believing something
that has no basis in reality. That is the worst form of
hyperbole IMO. I simply cannot accept that type of
behavior under any circumstances.

"This is a country of hyperbole."

Yes it is & the NYT is a major contributor to the problem.
They do it with such ease & frequency that they help make
irresponsible behavior more & more acceptable.

The NYT calls itself the "Paper of Record" & "All the News
That's Fit to Print". They are supposed to have fact
checkers verify what they report. The Jason Blair scandal
should have brought about major changes to their
reporting. I haven't seen any improvement.

I'm not alone in this assessment.....
