"The fact that you cannot differentiate between what is clearly a myth that no one claims is true and the truth claims of one who lived and died and rose from the dead, shows that you are clearly MYTH-taken. I'm afraid your "solid ground" is really sinking sand"

They are both myths; but if it makes you feel more comfortable I will change the analogy so that you may understand the point being made. Rather than comparing the myth of Jesus to that of Icarus, I will compare it to the Gods and Goddesses of Greece:

"Philosophical inquiry led to the rationalization of myths and completed the destruction of the Homeric pantheon. The vacuum was eventually filled by Christianity."

"The fact that you espouse moral anarchy in your recent posts while saying that God does not have the same freedom that you demand for yourself demonstrates that you are a morally bankrupt and deeply confused person."

I said nothing whatsoever about moral anarchy, as you well know. Your wild insults will pass as "argument" only to the deranged and the dim-witted.
