Dear me. This is utterly pathetic. We are all, you included, "Biblical literalists" when context and reason warrant and/or allow it. We simply choose differently why and when we employ our particular brands of Biblical literalism. Fundamentalists tend to rely upon literalism to avoid using inferior human conceptions of power and morality to discount God's power and morality. Leftists almost always tend to employ both literalism and metaphoricalism out of convenience, usually to permit some form of evil. Christian fundamentalists are far superior to leftists. For them, where common sense applied to a text (and/or where a text's context) does not compel a particular notion, it is better to trust that an Almighty God meant what a Biblical text simply states rather than assume a radically different meaning. Unlike you, I think it is wonderful that men are free to share religion. Indeed I even think it wonderful that you share your godless religion, with its tenet that no one should speak of religion. You help prove that leftists are the biggest hypocrites and liars in the human family.
