Kerry is very clean on campaign finance. He has a strict rule in his camopaign to return any check which has even a hint of impropriety about it. He is absolutely not for sale on any level. Partly that is because he is rich and doesn't need payoffs, but mostly it's because he's just always believed in high ethics. Taking smal donations from lobbyists is nothing. Everyone including Dean does it all the time. Dean howver somehow got 1.6 million from a single union and paid his campaign manager 5.2 million. What was that all about?
