vague memory on this, was that a case where he was driven hard("horsewhipped") by an obsessed parent to be a great QB????

That brings me to George and Leaf.
Leaf i feel, the mental stuff was simply not there and finally his throwing hand got some weird injury to finish the short career---Jeff George--whew, team after team tried with him.
i have no answer for George, again i think it was a head thing, just couldn't keep his composure on the field of battle.
