the entire country was surrounded with people NOT happy with Sadaam....inspectors crawling all over him..... the entire sham of a reason for invasion WAS given as 911 ties and WMD's....nothing else cited.......intelligence had WMD's wrong as possible and just like the fall of the soviet union...his country was in a horrible state and could mount nothing of consequence without the entire ire of the Arab nations AND Europe.....invasion was NOT what was needed......capturing BIN LADEN was NEEDED and the rebuilding of AFGHANISTAN.....not the destruction of OUR ECONOMY and AMERICAN LIVES to give W his war of vendetta LIES CC
