The war paralyzed the economy for a long time. Apparently you have a short memory. It started in the summer of 2002 as Bush started pushing the war and continued into the spring of 2003. The economy and markets didn't bottom out until after we'd invaded and Saddam's statue fell. During those 9 months millions lost jobs and the dollar and markets fell sharply. Now it's time for Bush's statue to fall, metaphorically speaking of course. There should never be any statues of GW Bush. He doesn't deserve any.
