I would be interested in seeing Powell's alleged comments, if you can point me to them.

This is the right kind of mess. It was inevitable that there be a blow up within the country if Saddam were ever overthrown. At least now, we do not have a full- blown civil war, or even a wider war, drawing in neighboring countries like Iran or Turkey, and we have some chance to guide the transition........
