Oh, like the crazy fabrications about Bush that are pushed by the Left Wing, claiming that he could have prevented 9/11, but purposely did not to have a pretext to invade Iraq for the oil? Those kind of wild, irresponsible assertions? Fortunately, most people do not credit such patently stupid speculation......

If I take out your references and change them slightly, it sounds like you are describing the campaign you appear to be embarked upon.

The smear campaign is well underway if you go to MoveOn.Org, democrats.org, DemocraticUnderground.org etc. A lot of the left is repeating crazy fabrications and outrageous exaggerations. The jokers all over the web repeat the stories until some people might think they're actually true.
