Russ, I see your point, and Mises's point
but given the political environment, and the colossal absence of correct economic thought, analysis, and policy,
it aint gonna happen

we have repealed the laws whereby recessions are permitted
and will now proceed down a path with no return

I thought we should have allowed a recession in 2001
it would have been nasty
I recall in the late 1990 decade, many openly stated that the next recession would lead to a depression, due to all the heavy debt levels

we are here now
recessions will not be permitted
false growth will be regarded as preferable to real growth after culling of the economic excess

you speak to deaf audience, my man
what you say rings true, but nobody in power will listen
it is kind of like telling a priest who molests little kids that he needs to go out and get laid with a nice (or not so nice) woman or a sequence of women
it is a waste of time
he has gone down a bad road, and will continue with children
no immediate risk perceived by the priest, so no changes

Fed's Greenspasm is the new priest who molests
his victims are savers and those operating businesses in the real economy
he will be left with a ransacked casino and empty industrial plants before he is done
