The Statue of Liberty has been closed since 9/11. Five million dollars are needed for her renovation. Perhaps had Bush not been bogged down by the Patriot Act, he could have found some change somewhere to repair The Very Great Lady! But he'll go to Mars, he give tax cuts to the rich, he'll feed Haliburton plenty of dough and he'll make sure the pharmaceutical companies are well kept in in the feeding chain--and much, much more insider stuff. Too bad the Statue of Liberty isn't an insider, eh? Heck, she probably doesn't even vote Republican!
