Turns out Dean was overpaying Trippi 5.2 million while claiming to be the man of the little people with the little checks. Thousands of those heartfelt little checks went to stuffing the pockets of fat cat politico Trippi, who still pretends he's some kind of reformer. He made off with Dean's money, now they only have a few million left. And yeah, more than a dozen top Dean staffers quit yesterday. The whole camopaign is winding down as Kerry is running away with it.

Can you post the link to that piece of news. I googled for that item and couldn't find it.

I would not hold your breath while you wait for the link. I have made the same request to AS. I am beginning to suspect that he does not know how to use his "cut" function.

Trippi did receive a commission on the ad buys, which is not unusual when the campaign manager also runs an ad agency. According to a NYT article that I have linked below, these commissions were probably less than $1.5 million.
