Suharto took East Timor as it took Irian Jaya (the left side of Papua New Guinea) and Indonesia is still to conduct a referendum there. I considered three countries as unviable: Apartheid South Africa, Israel and Indonesia. South Afreica has been reformed. Indonesia is going throguh the pains of dismemberment and Israel is being artificially propped by American tax payer money. But as anything that is unsustainable, there is no alternative, it falls to Earth. But we had also propped by the US: Nicaragua's Anastacio Somoza, Paraguay's Stroessner, Bolivia's Hugo Banzer, from 1964 to 1982 several military dictators in Brazil, and Argentinas', plus Chile's Pinochet, not to mention the Shah Of Iran.
