It's been a while now but I had a Cousin that lived on a creek (in Maryland) that lead into the bay. Shame we were only there for a few hours and didn't have the time to go out in the boat. I remember it being fantastic looking horse country (passed several horse farms) on the way to and from there. We came from and headed back to my other Cousin's house in Centreville, Virginia. Great area there as well once away from the bigger towns/traffic.

Edit...No polite way to put this...The friggin' Belt Way SUCKS!

Tubeing down the Brazos River is popular in Texas. I have a small creek at my property, but it dries up in the summer.
