That was the ad that MoveOn.org couldn't air during the Super Bowl. The CBS policy has been "no issue ads" but they do have anti-drug ads so apparently such advertising is done, but somewhat capriciously based upon subjective standards. But my problem with all media is that as they are run as a business, political ads get no special place. Seems like pretty good use of the public airways to me, but then I have something to gain by the public understanding the issues. If my goal was to hide that information, I'd feel differently. I thought it was a very effective commercial. Every guy on the street should be able to relate to that - heh, that's MY kid doing MY doing my job.
