Why do you highlite the portion about Iraqis not welcoming us. I have MANY friends now who have returned from there and THEY ALL have told me they were VERY WELCOME by the man in the street. Also, not one of them bitched that they didnt feel it was the right thing to do. I guess a case could be made that the USA wasnt in IMMEDIATE danger but there is NO DOUBT and even KAY says so that Saddam was a threat and the threat was growing and the longer we waited the harder it would have been along with the risk that Saddams regime may have transmitted very dangerous weapon systems to terrorists. You dont have to agree that Bush did the right thing, but if you are a fair person you MUST admit that Bush did what HE FELT was the right thing to PROTECT YOU AND ME. jdn
