factsofisrael.com Bob Graham, US Senator, calls for bombing of terrorist camps in Syria The Jerusalem Post (www.jpost.com) reports that US Senator and chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Bob Graham, has called for the bombing of terrorist camps located in Syria and Lebanon. Calling Hizbullah "the most vicious and effective terrorist organization in the world," Florida senator Bob Graham urged the United States to pressure Syria to dismantle terrorist camps in Lebanon and consider airstrikes if Syria does not take any action. Graham is head of the committee which is conducting an inquiry examining intelligence failures leading up to the September 11 attacks. Senators who accompanied Graham to Lebanon and Syria alluded to extremist camps in Lebanon's Palestinian refugee camps and the Bekaa Valley, and said a lesson of September 11 was that Washington was slow to deal with such camps in Afghanistan.
