<No reaction to Sharon's Gaza pledge?>

With habitual liars, like Sharon and Arafat, you have to wait and see what they actually do. After all, with the Road Map, Sharon pledged to evacuate all the settlements built in the last 3 years. Yet, there are more settlements now, than when he made his pledge.

Notice also the caveats:
1. no time frame.
2. He promised to evacuate 17 settlements, but there are more than 17 Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip. What is the definition of "all"?
3. the evacuation might be dependent on a Palestinian cease-fire (which means it won't happen).

The Wall, and the scope of evacuations of settlements, will define the extent of the planned Palestinian Bantustans. As I've said for a long time, the eventual plan is 4 tiny Palestinian cantons. Gaza is one. The West Bank gets split into 3 separated pieces, by Greater Jerusalem and Ariel, and by annexing the Jordan Valley.

Oh, there are reactions. The Likud is in an uproar, the settlers are angry, and the Palestinians are afraid that Sharon will end up dictating the final terms of disengagement.......
