Kerry is in a much better position to restore our relationships with the rest of the world. Bush is so despised in other countries that it will be very difficult for him to restore the confidence which existed before he rejected any talk on climate change; before he referred to North Korea and Iran as part of the "axis of evil"; before he yanked help to countries which engage in family planning; before he invaded Iraq without UN sanction; before he rejected having any part of the International Court.
