Josh, on your map, I'd say it was almost on the 'd' on the
Guadalupe between Austin & San Antonio.

I was visiting friends I grew up with in western PA about
10-12 years ago. They moved to Texas & eventually located
in Austin. We drove south out of Austin to the city of San
Marcos. We went to a facility that rented tubes for a 2
hour float down the San Marcos River (although it was only
about a wide as a creek). The facility provided a ride
back to where the trip began.

I've visited my friends in Austin a bunch of times over
the years, but we only did the tubing once. For me it was
great, as it was a nice way to be outdoors & not swelter
in the heat they get in the summer down there.

I found this link to a place that sounds almost like the
facility we used, but I am not positive.
