Haim, you are certainly consistently hard on the E.U. Personally I think it is a miracle that these old countries, once bitter enemies, can come together at all in any kind of union, and to hear disparate views from within is not a surprise.

It is also not a surprise that vested interests such as manufacturers are doing what they can to influence monetary policy to their advantage. This goes on everywhere, including the U.S.

You complain that the ECB is doing nothing for the little guy, and yet they are far more socialistic than the US, with free medicare, dental, etc. I wonder about where you are coming from, what your thoughts or solutions may be.

I have no reason to defend the E.U., but just trying to understand what it is they are doing so wrong.
