how early and honestly the Administration has revised its figures, They always revise their deficit figures upward. In 2002, they said the 2004 would be $14 Billion. OOPS!

Neo, You are right, we just disagree. Democratic White Houses always look chaotic because they are more democratic. Republican White Houses are run like gray flannel, soulless businesses and, IMHO, this one is run more like Enron or Tyco than like MMM. And speaking of leaks, ratting out a CIA operative is a pretty big one.

Gee, I didn't know Reagan was the President who won the cold war during The Cuban Missile Crisis. After that, the Soviets were never again a serious threat to the US. Face to face and the other guy blinked. Reagan was just lucky enough to come in for the knockout blow after Kennedy had blocked their best shot and body punched them til they couldn't breathe. Also, I am surprised at how many Republicans refuse to give Nixon credit for surrounding the USSR with his China policy. But the guy who made VD films during WWII, while real heroes lost their arms and saved their crewmates, etc, he's the one who won the Cold War. Was it the surrender in Lebanon that scared Gorbachev? <G>

But, the Neocon myths die hard. Have fun believing in these silly ideas. It beats not believing in anything.
