About the input speed of Chinese: one of friend of mine, who is an computer administrator (not make a living by input document/data), went for a week of training, and now she can input 250 words a minute, and she told me that this is normal and some can input even faster. She uses one of WuBi input methods (there are several out there). So I trust her more than the stats. you get online<g>

And I was talking about AVERAGE person in the US input speed, NOT a typist who make a living by typing, whether it is in court or not!

A vast majority in the US only uses QWERTY input, and that is what they teach in high school as far as I know. The other faster way of input English is not even taught in school, how could it be popular??
