What you don't realize is that Saddam was bad, but Bush was bad too. You seem to think it was an either/or case.

There is little difference between Saddam attacking the corrupt and repressive dictator of Kuwait, and Bush attacking the corrupt and repressive dictator of Iraq. In the end it was all about oil.
