It really is good news. We have spent countless millions of dollars on salmon restoration and the experts were predicting continued declines in the runs as far as the eye could see. For the last two years we have experienced these record runs and the experts are at a loss to explain them. The suspicion is the cyclical changes Mother Nature controls at sea. Of course that explanation is not well received by the intelligentia whose livelihood depends on the gloom and doom scare tactics necessary to extort money from the masses to conduct their endless studies and developmental roadblocks.
