Exit Polls In South Carolina Show Economy Top Issue NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Exit polls among Democrats who voted Tuesday in the South Carolina primary showed that the economy was overwhelmingly the number one issue, Cable News Network reported. When asked whether their family financial situation was the same, better or worse over the past four years, 49% of the South Carolina voters said it was worse while 36% said it was the same and 9% said it was better. biz.yahoo.com How can Bush win with these economic numbers? I don't think it is possible. The voters are sending a message loud and clear that the economy AND JOBS are the #1 issue. Jobless recoveries don't count as recoveries to most americans.
