The "Anglos" used the Mexicans who lived in what became Texas, then when the colonial war was over, the "anglos" ran off them off and took their land.

Jose Antonio Navarro has a county named after him, but I see no major city in Texas named after him.

There is no colonist you do not like is there Bruce?

Nahariya polishes off Czechs

"These days Ironi Nahariya is, relatively speaking, the most successful representative of Israeli basketball in Europe, and this has been a very good season for Israeli teams.

All the Israeli teams finished or are right now ranked in second place in their groups, but Nahairya has the most impressive record - 11-3, a 77 percent success rate. True, it's only the Europe League, which is only the second or third rated league in Europe but Nahariya, in its first season in Europe, has successfully passed through a relatively difficult group."

haaretz.com

It is amazing that one of the smallest democracies of the world, Israel, after being constantly attacked by Arabs and Arab terrorists over a period of 60 years, is still able to excel against much larger nations.

Israelis continue to impress the world in sports, arts and sciences, while the Arab world continues to disappoint the world with blatant racism, hatred towards others, violence and being the birthplaces of terrorism.

The only "achievement" by the Arab nations, in the past 100 years, has been to produce the Arab terrorists, who caused the worst attack ever on American soil, on Sept 11, 2001.
