What bothers me is the control these now trans-national corporations have over our government and elected officials. Their money pays for the officials to get elected. Their lobbyists often write the bills our Congress passes and the president signs, but they often seem to have no sense of responsibility to the people, or the nation as a whole, but only to the bottom line. Yet corporations only employ 17% of Americans. The concentration of wealth grants them excessive power.
