Is that right? Can anyone confirm this?

When I said Indian employees were tax exempt I am referring to indian employees of offshore multinationals in india. If HP wants to hire an engineer from india on a visa and bring them here, HP pays all US taxes. But to hire that same engineer as an offshore employee in India, HP pays no taxes.

I knew when the government was loading up the taxes on salaries and cutting capital gains so much, that this was going to come back to bite. Well now it has. In order to be globally competitive, the US will have to cut payroll taxes completely.
