Steve:

flash chip manufactures such as Samsung are not going flood the market with flash chips and drive the price down and cut their own throats

What makes you say that? I know it's been harped on before, but this is what happened to DRAM manufacturers.

Eventually, given an expanding market, healthy margins, and few (apparently) barriers to entry, supply will meet demand and most probably overshoot it. I was just pointing out that last year at this time new supply was announced and I presume came on line without adversely affecting profits or margins. I'm new to this stock, so I'm just getting a feel for what is unique about SNDK in the flash space, and went back thru some old posts to get some background. I was struck by the "deja vu all over again" nature of the posts. When supply overshots demand, or ASP begins to fall faster than cost, I don't know. Obviously, as a new investor, I don't think that point has been reached yet, but that is just my relatively uninformed opinion. As always, time will tell. So far, the market is saying that I'm an idiot.
