Ryan Air didn't take tax money from the people. The airport cost money to build and to maintain. By giving away public infrastructure and services below cost the local authorities are wasting taxpayers' money. If the local economic growth is self-sustaining it doesn't need subsidies. If the favor for Ryanair is prolonged then thousands of other companies in other business sectors will appear and ask for a public gift claiming they will certainly promote local business.
