rkral: RE: Bought for two reasons: 1) Technically, there seems to be support near $30, where support occurred in mid-December; and 2) fundamentally, the business cycle seems to be slowly turning upward. 1) While technicals are important, I would never use them to make a buy/sell decision, unless your time horizon is less than a day. I only look at the technicals after I've made the decision to buy. 2) More important than the turn and direction of the business cycle is the extent to which the stock is already discounting that concept.
