The press says it's Kerry vs. Edwards but it's not really. Edwards has no strength in the north and west so far. Clark has strength in certain areas to match Edwards. Dean has strength in very liberal states. This all plays into Kerry's hands. Have the three split the non-Kerry delegates, then pick one of them, probably Edwards, as his Veep.

Now that Dean is on the ropes, Kerry can cout on Michigan, New York and California. Edwards's main appeal is in rural areas and the south. Yet he has to compete with Clark there. Clark ekeing out a win in OK was bad news for Edwards. But let's be honest, aren't they really running for VP now barring a "miracle"?
