Are they still using S&P Comstock for their feeds? That used to be "the" problem.

eSignal does not have this problem - and has never had this problem in all the years I have used it - they have direct feeds from the exchanges.

Tradestation 7 (with their own feed plant) used to have this problem, until they switched *away* from S&P Comstock as their quote provider and went with direct feeds from the exchanges.

Brokers all over the world manage to deliver real-time quotes to users without these issues.

In this day and age there is no reason for lag from a charting/quote provider.

Mistakes made long ago by Quote.com, never rectified for whatever reason, and an apparent lack of investment in their plant and more importantly, on behalf of their customers - tell the story here.

If you look back 10,000 posts or more the problems were the same. Why continue to put up with it? Doing so, and wasting time complaining about it (I mean these issues have been going on for more than 4 years after all!!!) is a complete and utter waste of time.

I took a long hiatus from posting on SI and I must admit, I was completely surprised to see the same issues being discussed here on this thread (where I used to be quite a regular). I had assumed that *even* Lycos/Quote.com would have fixed these things by now.

Apparently not!

Just spotted an odd one.. on NVLS one minute chart..there is a gap from 13:48pm to 13:54 pm. Stock was not halted.. I was watching it trade briskly on Level II from my broker's program. Dangerous problem in that one could make a trade off that bad chart and not even know until a few minutes later that your data was bad. The chart looked ok and the connection readings said everything was ok. I have opened and closed the program but the 6 minute gap is still there. OK now am seeing that gap on a bunch of others too. Anyone else?
