My point is that steroids, abortion, wmds, space, deficits, tax cut inflexibility et al are not issues this president should want to base his campaign on. Concentrate on national defense, the war on terror, homeland security and the good things about the economy. Contrast that to weak on defense, tax raising, naive on terror, protectionist democrats and ask the question to the american people as to where their interests lay. For republicans , overcome the differences within the party----libertarian, balance budget, right to lifers etc. and stress the above. Dont go off on tangents. The SOTU speech was a horror. I would also suggest dumping cheney who appears to be on the take from hali, israel, neocons etc. His departure would be a loss to Bush in governance but a strong VP candi offsetting the southern wing of the dem party sure to get the veep(eddy,graham,geppy). Is nelson rocky still alive?
