I wasn't offended by the sexual content or the alleged (mis)use of national symbols. Let's face it -- when it comes to sexually morality, this nation's adult population are total hypocrites. I just thought the performances sucked. I don't blame the artists -- I mean what are they gonna do with only 90 seconds ? You can't sing a full song. The camera's moving on to the next act like you're part of an assembly line. I blame MTV for thinking that the rest of America is as dumb as 13 year olds when it come to knowing what passes for a talented, creative, musical performance. I think the NFL should ask for their money back. I think MTV should pay $20M+. They are a business. The best way to make them really sorry -- not just to say "I'm sorry" -- is to hit 'em where it hurts. In the pocketbook. Chris
